George Roger Waters (born 6 September 1943) is an English rock musician, singer-songwriter and composer. He gained fame as the bass player, co-lead vocalist, lyricist, principal songwriter and one of the founding members of the rock band Pink Floyd.
Roger Waters has toured extensively as a solo act since 1999 and played The Dark Side of the Moon in its entirety for his world tours of 2006-2008. In April 2010 Waters announced The Wall Live tour, which will include a complete performance of Pink Floyd's The Wall, starting in North America in September 2010 and tentatively ending in Europe in June 2011.
